Hi, I'm Lisa - the baker, decorator, and creative heart behind Flour Power Bakes.
Baking has been my passion for as long as I can remember. What started as a childhood love for mixing up sweet treats in my family kitchen grew into a dream of sharing delicious bakes with my Sunbury community. Every cake, cupcake, cookie, and treat I make is crafted with care, creativity, and a sprinkle of fun.
My Baking Philosophy
I believe every celebration deserves something special - whether it's a birthday, a milestone, or just a Tuesday that needs brightening up! I use quality ingredients, playful designs, and a personal touch in everything I bake. My goal is to make every customer feel delighted, valued, and inspired to celebrate life's sweet moments.
The Flour Power Bakes Story
It all started with a love for baking and a knack for making celebrations extra special. After years of whipping up birthday cakes and sweet treats for family and friends, I decided to turn my passion into a business - and so, Flour Power Bakes was born right here in Sunbury.

I'm proud to call Sunbury home and to serve our wonderful neighbouring communities - including Gisborne, Riddells Creek, Diggers Rest, Bulla, and Romsey, to name a few! I love being part of a warm, supportive region that values local, homemade goodness! There's nothing better than seeing familiar faces light up when they pick up their orders - or hearing how my bakes made their celebration even sweeter.​

I use real butter, free-range eggs, and the best local ingredients I can find. Every bake is made fresh to order, so you get the very best flavour and texture - never frozen, never generic.

As a home-based baker, I get to know my customers and their stories. I'm here to answer your questions, help you choose the perfect treat, and add those special finishing touches that make your order truly yours.
Our Commitment to Food Safety
Flour Power Bakes operates from a fully council-registered kitchen in Sunbury (Hume City Council), meeting all local and state food safety standards. I am a certified Food Safety Supervisor and maintain up-to-date training to ensure every product is prepared, handled, and delivered with the highest level of care.

For your peace of mind, I also carry full product and public liability insurance. This means you can order with confidence, knowing every treat is made in a safe, professional environment.
Giving Back to Sunbury
Supporting our local community is at the heart of Flour Power Bakes. I regularly donate vouchers and treats to community events, raffles, and silent auctions for local schools, clubs, and fundraisers. It's my way of saying thank you to Sunbury for all the support - and helping make our neighbourhood an even sweeter place to live.
